\rEverything you can do on the Kadoink site or with our various widgets can also be done from any phone that can send a text message.
\rUse easy text commands that you send into 33033, and then Kadoink makes everything happen. When you sign up – you get Mobile Usernames to give out instead of your number, so your friends can text your Mobile Username (for example: *coolio) into 33033, and you can decide which phone should ring or if all incoming calls to *coolio should go to your personal Kadoink voice message page to be viewed, deleted, or even blocked at any time.

\r 3. What are Kadoink Mobile Names?
\rKadoink Mobile Names allow people, groups, events and even companies to better interact and engage with their various friends, fans and communities through the mobile phone. Kadoink Mobile Names replace phone numbers and enable media files to become interactive streams of audio content that can be accessed from the web or from the mobile phone.

\rThere are two kinds of Mobile Names, Mobile Usernames and Mobile Media Names: Usernames are for people, groups, events, bands, and organizations. For example: the band Thirdeye Blind’s Username is *3rdeyeblind or for Jane its *jane (and they always start with an asterisk) and Mobile Media Names like *3rdeyeblind.song or *jane.blog. You get your Mobile Username first, so that you can start communicating immediately. Then you assign your audio Mobile Media Names to anything you record through Kadoink or upload. Creating a Mobile Username makes you and your audio come alive by phone! Once you or your audio has a Mobile Name – anyone can text that Mobile Name into 33033 to listen or reach you. See the Kadoink command quick guide for ways to control these Mobile Names to do fun and useful stuff! \r 4. What is “follow” all about and how can I cancel it?
\r Any Kadoink Mobile Username (see below) can be followed by texting “follow *username” to 33033. You can cancel any time by texting “ -follow *username” to 33033. Non-members can follow any Mobile Username. So for instance, you can “follow *thirdeyeblind” and you'll get a text message every time they update their status or add a new audio file. If you don't want that and you’re following them, just text “-follow *thirdeyeblind” and the updates will cease. Or register as a member as membership allows you to send all your text messages to your personal Web page to be viewed, deleted, or blocked anytime.

\r 5. What are Kadoink Widgets?
\r Kadoink Widgets are small portable web-applications that you create and copy/paste into other websites. It provides the forum for your friends, fans and communities to interact with you, each other and your content.
\r
\r Kadoink widgets allow you to make a group call and record it, send out a funny audio clip to your friends’ phones with a personal introduction from you, or hear recorded birthday wishes from your friends delivered on your birthday and much more.
\r
\r Every Kadoink Mobile Username generated automatically gets a MegaWidget (see above to learn about Mobile Usernames). The MegaWidget delivers several features such as enabling people to subscribe to the user’s text and audio updates, to leave voicemails and texts for others to see/read and to select key audio to share with others’ phones. Your MegaWidget can be public and posted all over the Web or kept private.

\r 6. Send commands to 33033
\r Save 33033 to your mobile phone. It's the only number you'll ever need again because you can give out your Mobile Username instead of your personal phone number. All Kadoink functions are triggered from the mobile phone by texting into 33033.

\r 7. How does Kadoink save me money?
\r You send one text message whether it's for a single interaction, like blasting a song to a friend, or blasting it to 1,000 people! So, if you don't have unlimited text messaging, we save you money. If you do have an unlimited text plan, we still save you money. You can send Kadoink commands from Kadoink.com or from a widget or your mobile phone to do things like a group call – that rings your home phone instead of your mobile! That saves you minutes.

\r Sign up to get your first Mobile Username to give out instead of your phone number! Go to the registration page and create your Mobile Username and then start discovering all the ways Kadoink can help you and make your social life more mobile! \r 9. For Non-Members
\r You don’t have to be a member to use Kadoink! Here are some easy ways to get socially mobile! \r \r - Follow – Click on the Follow button on people’s MegaWidgets and get a text message every time they update their status or post new music, jokes or other audio to their MegaWidget.
\r - Call – Text anybody’s Mobile Username (*username), to 33033 and you can be connected directly to that person.
\r - Text – Text anybody’s Mobile Username to 33033 with your text message and they’ll get it instantly on their phone.
\r - Voice Message – Leave a voicemail message for any Mobile Username by texting “vm *name” to 33033.
\r \r For instance, anyone can follow any band or person by using the “follow” command in front of a Mobile Username like this: text “follow *djcool” to 33033. Easy to cancel by texting “-follow djcool” to 33033.

\r 10. For Members
\r There are additional features available only to members such as Record (create audio content from your phone that’s posted online and shared with friends and followers) or iBlast, which sends audio to as many people’s phones as you want.

\r These are Kadoink text commands. Stick one of them in front of a Mobile Username, like “*thirdeyeblind” and you're communicating. \r The first thing you get by becoming a member is a Mobile Username – which is a personal phone name that replaces your phone number. Once you have one (or several), people can get hold of you by simply texting your tag into 33033. You also can record and/or upload audio, give it a Mobile Name and now it’s shareable to phones, playable in widgets and can be accessed from anywhere the name is written – like posters, brochures, whatever.

\r You also get a customizable MegaWidget, which can be copied and embedded in other sites such as your personal profile pages on sites like MySpace, blogs or your own websites. MegaWidgets lets friends leave you text and voicemail messages and lets you post your music, jokes and other audio and your shout-outs to the world.

\r We allow users who like your MegaWidget to simply select the “Copy Code” button at the bottom of the MegaWidget to replicate that MegaWidget into their own sites. So if you’re a band or anybody that has a large fan base, they’ll be able to take your MegaWidget and drop it into their own profile pages on other sites – helping to spread your words/sounds! \r - My Widgets/MegaWidgets

\r You can add contacts and groups from your phone and see them all in the My Stuff section of Kadoink. You can even upload contacts you have stored from other services in one click so you don't have to add to them one by one. But if you're on the go – text the Kadoink command “add jane 415551212” to 33033 anytime. Then follow it by texting “share *my.blog with jane” immediately.
\r - My Audio
\r All your recorded and uploaded audio is stored in this area. You can record voice messages or music by phone anytime or upload audio at the Web site. Then you can drag and drop any of these audio files onto an existing name tag to assign them to that name tag.
\r \r - My Planner
\r Schedule any command to occur at any time or just use the planner to keep track of all your Kadoinks, which are automatically tracked here. You can schedule from your phone by just adding the time and/or date info to any existing command. So, record that happy birthday song and schedule it to play for your mom on her birthday today!
