December 19, 2007

Kadoink's social network debut expands Bebo to the mobile space, enabling one-to-many communications and audio content sharing

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - December 19, 2007 – Kadoink, (www.kadoink.com), a web telephony service for social media that enables enhanced mass distribution of SMS, live and recorded voice messaging and audio file streams over the voice channel, unveiled its service offering today for Bebo's newly formed Open Application Platform. In an effort to give Beboers expanded options to stay closely connected with online friends anytime, anywhere the Kadoink platform will allow Bebo members to connect while they are away from their computer using its Music Call and Group BuzzText widgets that can easily be embedded into users' Bebo pages.

The Kadoink Music Call widget allows users to add musical flair to their Bebo page by sharing favorite music clips and recorded audio that can be easily sent to their friends' mobile phones via SMS text messages. Upon receiving a Music Call text, recipients can respond back with the command "play" to hear the music and personal greeting sent. Group BuzzText widgets allow Bebo members to create ad hoc texting groups quickly by letting them post fun questions or statements on their widget and get answers and comments texted back to them and their friends. The back-and-forth communication created by Group BuzzText makes for a fun and highly entertaining cross-platform group chat experience.

"With the launch of our highly developer-friendly open platform we are excited to have Kadoink on board to expand our members' online communications on the mobile platform," said Michael Birch, CEO and co-founder of Bebo. "Our Open Application approach will help enrich the overall Bebo experience while at the same time offering new ways for partners to become actively engaged with our audience."

Beboers embedding the Kadoink Music Call and BuzzText widgets into their personal page have the power to stay closely connected to online friends without ever having to divulge their real world identities. Kadoink's single hosted, software-based telephony platform and widget-based user interface transforms the mobile platform into a highly effective second hub for Bebo connectivity, seamlessly pushing online communications out to user's mobile phone. With Kadoink, Bebo members can now use their mobile phone to send and share SMS messages, group texts, and songs offline using their Bebo virtual identity.

"With so many connections and friendships being forged everyday on Bebo, we are excited to be able to provide the community with the tools necessary to integrate the most ubiquitous device they own, their mobile phone, with the strong online connections they have formed on Bebo," said Scott Cahill, CEO of Kadoink. "Our partnership with Bebo will allow its tremendous user base to now share audio content offline, communicate anonymously through their phones and create instant group texts and calls whenever and wherever they are."

Death Cab For Cutie, Kottonmouth Kings and Third Eye Blind First to Deploy Kadoink Service to Connect with Fans

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - December 5, 2007 – Kadoink, (www.kadoink.com) a powerful new communications platform that bridges the mobile phone and the web to allow consumers to share and publish content with friends and online communities through their phones, launches publicly today with popular music acts as diverse as Death Cab For Cutie, Third Eye Blind, Matt Nathanson, Rogue Wave and the Kottonmouth Kings from the Suburban Noize label. Artists can harness Kadoink's platform to distribute songs or voicemails over the voice channel to thousands or millions of fans, send group texts or calls to fans located within a particular area code or region and create a mobile fan club where fans can receive all the latest happenings in a band's daily life delivered right to their phone.

Kadoink provides a powerful new promotional tool for artists to send daily updates or securely broadcast never released songs over the voice channel eliminating the need and risk involved with sending a music file. Through Kadoink, labels can offer fans the ability to evangelize their favorite band or new music distributed by the artist instantly to their own group of friends through the phone.

“Kadoink makes a mobile phone the ultimate ‘by your side’ communications tool for people to always stay connected with large groups, whether its fans, friends or customers,” said Scott Cahill, CEO of Kadoink. “Kadoink offers an exciting media distribution tool for a wide range of industries including music, virtual worlds, brands and celebrities looking to create a deeper connection with audiences. We are thrilled to launch with such great artists and labels to help enable them to extend relationships with fans and make it possible to securely share, play and send music to any cell phone.”

“In using Kadoink we will be able to offer a unique value added experience to our audience, ” said Jordan Kurland founder of Zeitgeist Artist Management, LTD. “Kadoink, compared with other fan oriented mobile messaging platforms, is a 360 degree experience. I love that one day you can send a text message to your fans alerting them a new album is on the way and the next week send a streaming file of a new song directly to their phone.”

“We are really excited to use Kadoink to support the connection between our bands and the fans.” says Kevin Zinger, President for Suburban Noize Records. “Their platform is really unique because their service not only sends text messages to users, but recorded audio and music as well. This is key in further engaging fans as they use their phone more and more for social networking. Our label has always tried to keep a close connection between the bands and the fans. Kadoink brings us one step closer.”

Kadoink enables popular music acts to create a deeper connection between artists and their fans through the mobile phone. Death Cab For Cutie, Third Eye Blind, Matt Nathanson and popular rap act Kottonmouth Kings are the first artists to deploy Kadoink as a highly effective tool to inform fans of upcoming events, album releases and tours sent right to the palm of their hands. A customized and skinned widget will be embedded on each band's web and MySpace page and used as another forum to engage with their fans on the social networking site. Fans of the bands will be able to ‘follow’ the band and receive text, music and audio updates via SMS and the voice channel instantly to their mobile phone. Fans can also embed the widget on their own personal pages and blogs.

Kadoink works on any mobile phone regardless of carrier and does not require a client download on the phone – meaning that any phone that has texting capabilities can work with Kadoink. The company has also developed a first-ever technology that allows users to send and receive audio files over the voice channel housed on the Kadoink server that can be securely streamed to one or one hundred thousand people with one simple text message. In addition, Kadoink enables users to record personal introduction messages that precede the music – making the experience more personal and intimate. With Kadoink, the mobile device is transformed into a powerful, easy-to-use communications and marketing channel that can service multiple and distinct verticals.

By embedding Kadoink customized widgets on personal blogs and social networking pages from blogspot.com to popular social network pages, users and partners can further manage and share content, receive regular updates on news and information, discover new music, and execute instant group calls and texts.

The Kadoink platform is built on a globally-scaled, redundant, load balanced infrastructure that combines a powerful CRM engine, and a carrier grade telephony backend, featuring patent-pending software which sets is apart from other mobile social networking companies.
